Nicola Robins

Nicola is a partner at Incite, a leading sustainability thinktank and consultancy based in Cape Town.

An avid strategist, coach and facilitator, she has over 20 years of experience helping to shift the way people see sustainability in South Africa, the United States, China and Australia.

She has consulted in sustainability strategy, industrial impact assessment, auditing (she is an accredited ISO 14001 auditor), learning process and organisational change.

She is also a Senior Associate of the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership in South Africa, a visiting lecturer at the UCT Graduate School of Business and co-founder of the Raindance Network which applies traditional African knowledge to sustainability challenges.

An experience in the Kimberley Mountains while consulting in Australia initiated a five year personal retreat from the corporate world, facilitated by African traditional healers. She re-entered the world of work by joining friend and colleague Jonathon Hanks to form Incite in 2005.

She has a BSc (Hons) from UCT and an MSc in Industrial Environmental Management from Yale University, where she was a Fulbright Scholar.
